This is my first "debut" EP. Selfreleased, selfmade, DIY all the way. Didn't know shit about how to release music, how to promote, how to record even properly. So this album is pure af I would say, and It's just me and my laptop and the urge to make something big. This was while the lofi era was on it's peak I think and I was really liking what I heard from washed out, neon indian, toro y moi etc. At the same time I was really into Skrillex, M83, Michael Jackson. The 80s sound also facinated me so much. And movies like 'Drive' got me into that. As well as listining to alot of Chopin, so romantic and melancholic music. I somehow wanted to mix all of those sounds and feelings I guess, into something of my expresion. There 'Retrospect' got its form and I released it 2 years later in 2015.

Some of the tracks got left behind after my first EP release in 2015. So I decided to put them as bonus tracks on this update here on Bandcamp. All of the tracks for Retrospect where written and recorded in Lofoten, Malaga and Oslo between 2012 and 2015. At the time I was using only my laptop, sound card and headphones. I literally used the internal microphone on my laptop for some of the vocals. Today I love the over all sound Retrospect has. And for the bonus tracks; I'm really happy it's something I can put here for the ones that like to digg a little deeper. Hope you enjoy.

P.S. There are some photos added as well in the release, which I found in a folder called "Inspiration" in my music archives from 2015.
